A total of 120 arrests have been made and 59 people sentenced
Another man has been charged after the violent disorder in Merseyside. It follows the violent scenes which broke out at the end of July and in August in Southport and Liverpool.
The man has been arrested in connection with the disorder seen in Liverpool city centre. Siya Poor, 18, of Plumer Street, Wavertree was charged with violent disorder in Liverpool.
He will appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday). He is the 82nd person charged by Merseyside Police so far. A total of 120 arrests have been made and 59 people have been sentenced to 126 years and eight months.

Enquiries are still ongoing into the violent disorder and police are encouraging anyone with information to contact them via Public Portal (mipp.police.uk) or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
