The Piano’s Brad Kella has thanked fans for their support after he released his debut single ‘Eve and Frank’, dedicated to his foster parents on Friday, September 20. Posting to his Instagram story Brad shared a snippet of his song with the message ‘Thank you for all of the support so far’.
Brad, who grew up in Bootle, has signed a recording contract with Modern Sky, a Liverpool-based music label after winning the second series of Channel 4 show The Piano.
The release of his new song is just the beginning according to Brad. He posted to Instagram: “My life-long journey has brought me to so many moments but this one may just be the biggest one yet. I have so much left to show and give you all.”

The 23-year-old was placed into foster care at the age of seven. While in care he learned how to play the piano through a government grant which allowed him to buy an electric piano.

Brad has praised his foster parents for supporting him and his twin brother previously. He said: “What they [my foster parents] did for me and my brother was absolutely everything. They’d make sure we were up to start in school, routine, getting up early, going to bed early. They gave me absolutely everything and more.”
The newly released song which is dedicated to his foster parents is an original piece Brad performed in the finale of The Piano. The song is now available to listen to on multiple streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube. Brad will release his debut album next year
Brad will also perform at the in Liverpool this weekend. This is part of a programme demonstrating the value and impact of the creative sector in the UK.
