“Saturdays at Anfield,” wrote Gravenberch on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Liverpool return to Anfield on Wednesday night when they host West Ham in the third round of the Carabao Cup. It remains to be seen if Gravenberch will start a seventh straight match, or if Slot will give the midfielder a rest and leave him on the bench, or out of the matchday squad entirely.
It’s not just for Liverpool that Gravenberch has been given a lot of minutes this season. The September international break also saw the midfielder play the full 90 minutes in each of the Netherlands’ friendly matches against Germany and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
